Seniors were defeated by Annaghdown in the league final on Saturday last on a scoreline of 0-9 to 1-13. This has brought our season to a close for 2013.Sadly this was the last time we will see “The Master” Padraic Joyce tog out in his beloved Red and White of Killererin. Padraic announced in the dressing room following the league final that he decided to hang up his boots. The end of an Era.. Tears were shed following his announcement by officers and players. Tears of admiration and pride for a player that the whole country admired but we in Killererin were extremely proud to call our own. We were never found wanting if the man we affectionately called “Pau” was able to put a foot under him at all. His 100% commitment to his club will always be remembered  with pride here in Killererin. We wish Padraic,Tracey and Ava many more good times in his retirement from his much loved sport.!!! Thank you Padraic for all the good times and Memories!!!.

Decluttering for the Christmas why not donate your old belongings to your club. Bags can be dropped to the pitch between 10am and 2pm. There will be one dressing room allocated to this. All types of used clothing new/old in any condition. Men's, Ladies, Children's, babies, handbags, belts, shoes etc. Curtains, pillow cases and bed Linen must be in a separate bag please.
